I’m a year wiser today. A year happier, a year stronger. May God guide my path whereever I go.
I’ve been busy. Busy with work, busy with the kids, busy with my family and busy planning my upcoming business trip to the UK. I’m also in search of a new place to live since our landlord is now asking for a phenomenal rent increase which I think is unreasonable.
I have managed to squeeze in some fun time in between, though. I bought a foldable bike a few weeks ago and have been exploring our neighbourhood on some evenings. We won’t be living there for long anymore, so, I want to cherish every single moment that I have left.
It’s Friday already. I’m much more relaxed today and am looking forward to seeing a ballet under the stars tonight. It’s a picnic event and I can’t wait to roll out my picnic rug and just stretch my feet with the kids and that one person I hold dear in my heart. We’re seeing West End’s We Will Rock You next week. Happy weekend, everyone.
I’ve lost the mood to write. Ironic, considering the fact that I’ve renewed my domain name just last month. But yes, I just haven’t had the appetite. Don’t ask me why because I don’t know. It’s raining outside and I’m listening to Contigo en la Distancia on my iPod, both Christina‘s and David‘s version. It’s making me want to take up Spanish lessons again. Ah.
Más allá de tus labios
Del sol y las estrellas
Contigo en la distancia
Amado mÃo estoy….

I’m thankful for strangers who lend a helping hand without expecting anything in return. And today, I ran into one of those lovely people on the internet.
For weeks, I’ve been searching for the song used in Seoul’s tourism “Soul of Asia” TV ad (click here for the Youtube version). And after searching high and low, I finally found this guy’s blog, where he offered to send the song via email to those who are also looking for it. His email came through about an hour ago and I’ve been listening to this song nonstop now. It’s lifting up my mood. Thanks, Fahrie.
Moonlight (Aaron Wheeler & Jayme Tovey)
In the moonlight
(Gonna make you feel right, gonna get it right tonight)
In the moonlight, you can feel that feeling so right,
Cause you know it`s happened tonight,
and the stars are shining so bright,
You know it`s real
